Five focused videos. One useful project.
First Build is a calm, parent-guided AI project course for teens roughly 12 to 18. Hometown Hop is the shared first example. Your teen chooses the world, builds a small first version with AI as a sidekick, lets a real person play, makes one change, and finishes with proof. Private is a complete finish.
What is included
- Five video lessons: find the course, make a home for the work, build Hometown Hop, polish and test it, then graduate with a clear next step
- The interactive Builder Brief to turn a real-world observation into a project plan
- A printable project workbook with prompts, testing tools, parent guidance, and portfolio templates
- Four Hometown Hop prompts: first playable round, full polish, one change after a real person plays, and the private handoff
- A polished Builder Certificate when the project is complete
Your Ongoing Course Access
First Build is self-paced and stays in your household account. Return to the lessons whenever your teen wants to review a move, improve the project, or build it again. You also keep the printable workbook materials and the project your teen creates.
What your teen will finish with
- One working Hometown Hop file someone else can open
- A tested version, one focused improvement, and screenshots of the work
- An honest project record they can explain and keep building
Parent notes
A laptop or desktop and internet connection are required. No coding background is required. Public sharing is optional and must be parent-approved. The course is designed to avoid collecting a teen’s personal information.
